Karl is forced to keep the secret of Nicola’s worrying needlestick injury leading Susan to question the nature of his relationship with the scarlet of Ramsay Street. Susan accepts Karl’s word that there is nothing improper going on, however when a domestic crisis leads her to the hospital she finds Nicola in her husband’s arms.

Freaked out by having to wait three months to know if she’s been infected with a potentially lethal disease, and with Pete refusing to undertake a voluntary test, Nicola takes matters in to her own hands and gets the results she needs.

Declan accepts Josh’s murderball challenge, and the two guys play hard to win a free shot at winning Bridget’s heart. When Bridget turns up at the match and finds them literally fighting over her, she’s unimpressed. Who will she choose to forgive – Josh, Declan or neither?
