Donna has a plan to put things right between Ty and Rachel, and drags Rachel along to Fred and Big Tommo's(a.k.a Hamish and Andy) radio station to dedicate Ty’s song to him on air. When Donna sees Fred, she's less than impressed, saying he looks much better on TV! Even though she has just offended Fred, he is amused by her confidence and gives in to her request. While in the hot seat, Donna reveals all about Rachel’s recent problems on air, and her affair with a teacher! However, she does put things right when she manages to get Rachel and Ty’s song Unforgettable played on air. The experience brings Rachel and Ty one step closer to reconciliation.

After seeing Nicola in Karl’s arms at the hospital, old wounds are bought to the surface and Karl and Susan's marriage hits the rocks. Karl is finding it difficult to come clean about what is really going on as he can’t betray Nicola’s confidence. Paul takes advantage of Susan’s dark mood to secure her services at the paper, and Nicola bites the bullet and tells Susan about her needlestick injury after seeing Karl struggling with his personal life.   

Libby finds out how Dan really hurt his arm.  When she confronts Lucas and asks what really happened, he admits they are the fighting Fitzgeralds! Disgusted, Libby tells Lucas she wants nothing more to do with the both of them.
