The tour coincides with the release of the Rogue Traders' third single, "Way To Go" in the UK. Their first release "Voodoo Child" debuted at number 3 in the charts last year and stayed in the Top Ten for five weeks. If Australia's reaction is anything to by, the new single will be just as huge. "Way To Go" is currently number 1 on the DMC Club chart.
The tour has already hit Newcastle, Aberdeen and Glasgow but fans further south still have time to get tickets if they're quick. And just in case Girls Aloud aren't entirely your bag, the Traders are playing a series of side shows in venues around the country including the infamous G.A.Y. nightclub in London. Visit the Rogue Traders' website for full details.
In related news, Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy) is also heading back out on tour although sadly, our dreams of a Karl/Izzy duet probably won't come true this time around. While Nat's tour finishes in June, Alan isn't UK bound until later in the year. His band Waiting Room commence their fifth tour on November 24th. Some tickets are already on sale but new dates are being announced this month. For more information visit Alan's website.
And in the meantime, let's all have a think about what that Karl/Izzy duet would look like (we've wiped the time Izzy tried to write a charity song from our memory). Personally, we'd love to see them do a cover of the Kylie and Jason classic "Especially For You". Then again, given that Izzy must be just about ready to pop perhaps "Sweet Child O' Mine" would be more appropriate...
